My name is Kiana Ansari and I recently graduated from California State University of Long Beach with a degree in Health Science Community Health Education (B.S.); within the College of Health and Human Services.
 
I am currently working as a behavior technician with children who have behavioral disorders. Now that I am graduated, I plan to obtain a job that will provide me with direct patient care experience. From here, I will apply to Physician Assistant School and begin my journey to becoming a PA. 

As a PA, I would likely go into the field of primary care where I have various goals for bringing change to the health industry. I am a strong advocate for integrative medicine in which the beneficial aspects of eastern and western medicine are combined for a synergistic effect. I hope to bring this into the healthcare industry and be able to provide holistic alternatives to patients to minimize invasive procedures and medications that are not absolutely necessary. I feel that the current healthcare industry is too fast paced and fails to view the patient as a whole. To combat this, I would aim to take a holistic approach with each patient and form a true connection with them for the best personalized care.
