Delta Zeta is a panhellenic sorority that does philanthropic work for the Starkey speech and hearing foundation. This club has allowed me to pursue volunteer endeavors for speech and hearing and network with likeminded driven individuals. The club works to combat disparities in healthcare when it comes to accessing hearing aids and speech therapy. I held the leadership positions of sisterhood chair where I would assist in planning sisterhood events and fashion chair where I was able to explore my creative side and design clothing articles for the sorority. As events chair I planned all large philanthropic and social events for the affiliation. I worked with insurance, venue companies, and our national board to properly run these large events.
